Despite the legalization of abortion in 2002 in Nepal, many women are still unaware of its legalization and right informtion on safe abortion. The government should ensure that every person has access to right information on safe abortion respecting SRHR of women.
Only 41% of women aged 15-49 were aware that abortion is legal in Nepal- NDHS 2016 making women vulnerable to unsafe abortion. Hence,
#CSE can facilitate proper information on safe abortion ensuring women’s right to control their own #Sexuality #Prochoice @asapasia @ARROW_Women
